2020 doesn't work on a BB as it's all set up through the service books which are set automatically. You may need to set up some options though.

Check these...
1. Set up the phone for picture messaging
You do not need to set up the phone for picture messaging, as the phone is automatically set up. Follow the steps below to select more settings for picture messaging.

2. Find Options
Press the Menu key twice
Press Text Messages
Press the Menu key
Press Options

3. Select setting for receiving picture messages
Press Multimedia Reception
Press Always

4. Select setting for automatic retrieval
Press Automatic Retrieval
Press Always

5. Activate or deactivate delivery reports
Press Confirm Delivery to activate or deactivate the function
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated

6. Save and exit
Press the Menu key
Press Save
Press Disconnect
Press the Return key to return to standby mode

Hi

Try texting Active to 2020 and see if that helps.

When you put the SIM card in the phone, you should have got a couple of messages to let you know the new phone was connected properly.

Its been that long since I have done it, but I'm sure one message is from O2 and the other from BlackBerry.

If its a Service Book issue, you would be as well resending them, which should be something like this:

1. From the home screen, go to the All window and select it

2. Scroll to and select Setup

3. Select Email Accounts

4. Wait while your email settings are retrieved

5. Press the Menu key

6. Scroll to and select Service Books

7. Select Send Service Books

8. Wait while the request is processed

9. The service books have been sent to your BlackBerry smartphone. Select OK and you should recieve a message in the Messages App.
