hi all

 

did a software update last night which failed; phone wouldn't boot up without connecting to my laptop... tried update again, same problem. left it over night and i have no contacts, phone capability or text. tried the update again, phone will not boot up again...

 

any ideas?!

Thanks all for your help; making the use of my gadget insurance and have registered a claim, hopefully they'll accept and either repair or replace... just a bit of a pain that i'll be with out for another week or so...

Hi Caudy,

 

I'm really sorry, I haven't been back in touch but I have been trying to get into that developers section of the the Blackberry website to see what the process that seems to work is...but I'm getting nowhere!

At least you've claimed for the device, although I think it should be covered under warranty with Blackberry. 

Hopefully you get a nice shiny new device! Are you sticking with a Z10?
