Re: Huawei 4G with WiFi - Update?

Hi all

Hoping this is the right board?

We have the Huawei 4G dongle with WiFi, and haven't been able to use it for a few weeks now because it advises that there is an update available (when on the internet, it redirects to 192.168.3.1).

However to complete the update, we need to enter a username and password.. Which isn't our usual username and password?! We don't remember ever setting up a separate username & password.

Can anyone help me find out how to find it please?! I've searched everywhere on 'My O2', but to no avail.

Maybe the dongle login which is usually Admin and Admin although check your packaging or documentation to confirm.

Hi @Anonymous,

The usual defaults for Huawei devices is admin as both username and password.

If not if you got to http://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/index.htm

You should be able to find the userguide for you dongle.
