They are part of a magical formula that decrees if you are/and how much reward you get at the end of the month.

It's just a way of saying thanks for helping.
Nothing too special.

Hi @Anonymous

Taken from Community guidelines https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Welcome-News/Community-Guidelines/m-p/487846

3.  Say thank you

You can thank people for their help by giving them “Kudos” – just click on the blue button below the post. You can also post a thank-you reply. If you agree with another member’s point in a discussion, giving them Kudos is a good way of indicating so. However, please do not manipulate its functions by doing such things as making alias accounts to assign Kudos to yourself, or by asking friends/other members to do so in posts. You can however ask members to Kudos any helpful posts in your forum signature, but only in this form.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome!

Kudos is a way of saying 'thanks' or 'that post helped me' or 'I agree'. Its one of the things that contributes to monthly rewards, but its only one of many different things. Feel free to PM me any time and we can chat about it :).

Well looking at the T&C's I am gobsmacked that people would assign themselves a second account so they can give kudos to themselves.....How sad is that....?

Personally I don't feel I need to explain why I give kudos... but I will.

Over 4 years I have learnt a lot from people on here. A total technophobe when I started and now have family members asking me for mobile phone advice (which is a bit of a joke but pleases me)

I have also seen people learn from others and when they demonstrate achievements I will kudo them.

I appreciate those who make a stand against injustice. If I agree I will kudo those posts....

Lets not forget some of the most stunning reviews ever seen on any forum. Well worth rewarding.

Just a few of the reasons I kudo posts. slight_smile
