What an absolute disgrace. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38786660  Trump is going to inflame millions

He issues an executive order which leaves 100's stranded at airports even of they have a visa or permit. Then a judge temporarily put a halt to it. What next? Will Trump sack the judge? Smiley Mad

An order issued with no idea of the consequences. They were talking to one person who was in tears. The CEO of her company based in the US has an Iranian passport. He was on a flight this morning and when it landed he was refused entry Evil

Google has issued an order for all their staff working abroad to return to the States immediately as a result of Trump's Executive Order. Clearly they fear the repercussions @jonsie refers to. And I expect other organisations to do the same.

Trump is so stupid when it comes to international affairs it does not even occur to him that countries will retaliate by issuing bans on US citizens entering their countries at the very least.

I feel for the poor souls stuck at various airports around the USA who have a legal right to entry but are penalised because of an insane Executive Order which was not carefully thought out by a lunatic who is pandering to the loony right. Not everyone from the countries on his list is a possible terrorist. They are doctors, scientists and, yes, CEO's of companies.

Trump's action will ensure more terrorist attacks against the US as it enforces extremists' beliefs, also insane, about America.

Just a litle more stupidity from Trump and his office.

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2017/01/trump-muslim-ban-dangerous-distraction-170128144523...

Quote from the article.....

On January 27, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order to make good on his promised Muslim Ban. One of the primary provisions of the order is a ban on visas to the US to nationals from seven countries: Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen, which are all Muslim-majority nations.

There is something peculiar about this list. The draft of the executive order begins by citing 9/11 as a failure of the "visa-issuance process". It blames the state department for preventing "counselor officers from properly scrutinizing the visa applications of several of the 19 foreign nationals who went on to murder 3000 Americans."

The overwhelming majority of those individuals were from Saudi Arabia, yet, Saudi Arabia is not on the list. Furthermore, when it comes to "homegrown terrorism" of all the Muslims accused, charged, convicted and killed, some of them are from these seven countries in Trump's list and some are not, some are immigrants and some are American citizens, and a number of them have been entrapped by federal law-enforcement agencies. This either means that the list needs to be much longer or there is something more than national security concerns at play.

and then this....

US ambassador to UN vows to overhaul world body and warns she will be 'taking names' of countries opposing Washington.

Nikki Haley, the new US ambassador to the United Nations, has said Donald Trump's new administration will push for an overhaul of the world body and bluntly warned those who oppose Washington's policies that she is "taking names".

The White House is reportedly preparing an executive order that could deprive the United Nations of billions of dollars in US financial support.

Thank you @jonsie for the article you uploaded. It says it all.

As for the new UN Ambassador to the UN, well clearly she is as stupid as Trump. And exactly what does Trump plan to do with those names? Deprive those countries of US financial aid? If so, that is a very dangerous route to go down, as it will only ensure the making of more terrorists and isolate America from the friends she needs.

I am not surprised that Trump wants to deprive the UN of billions of dollars in financial support. He has no use for the UN and thinks it serves no purpose. The UN is not perfect but it would an even more dangerous world without it.
