Strictly Come Dancing 2017

It's that time of year again....Some love it and others hate it....

However, BBC have announced the first 'celebrity' to join the line up for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

It's Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays (Frankie Bridge from the same group appeared in 2014)

I have always had a good feeling about Oti. Look at what she achieved with Danny Mac last season.

She is an extremely good dancer and an innovative choreographer. Can't wait to see what she does with Jonny Peacock.

Yes, me too ... & ... no doubt a certain @MI5      ... I hope the pairing do well ... Jonny seems such a nice bloke ... the sportsmen / women tend to do well as imhho they are used to being coached by a professional trainer ... SCD is good all round family viewing on a Saturday night

Some new professionals & some old ... = ... each couple will choreograph their own routines

Talking about X Factor ... best imhho is / was G4 ... the 4 male singers who Simon Cowell said they looked like a bunch of bankers ... this when he was producing / managing Il Divo who are a load of pretty boys imhho ... I have a wonderful cd of G4 ... = ... various styles & singing with quality people including The Doncaster Diva herself, who came 4th with Anton in SCD, Leslie Garrett

* Charlotte and Brendan will Foxtrot to The Best Is Yet To Come by Michael Buble
* Chizzy and Pasha will Cha Cha to Boogie Fever by The Sylvers
* Debbie and Giovanni will perform a Paso Doble to Be Italian by Fergie
* Gemma and Aljaz will Cha Cha to There’s Nothing Holdin' Me Back by Shawn Mendes
* Mollie and AJ will Jive to Good Golly Miss Molly by Little Richard
* Ruth and Anton are Waltzing to This Nearly Was Mine (Seth MacFarlane version)
* Susan and Kevin will perform the Viennese Waltz to Mad About The Boy by Dinah Washington
* Aston and Janette will Foxtrot to It Had To Be You Harry Connick Jnr
* Brian and Amy will Tango to Temptation by Heaven 17

I saw the list earlier in the week, can't remember where exactly....but curious to see the interpretation of "Dedication to my Ex" but sadly it will be too short before the track really kicks in for the dance.

Ah yes, the cyncial attempt at Richard Coles being a vicar in song choice makes him my favourite to go. That choice alone makes him the obvious joke act of the series and to a cha-cha of all dances!

Agreed though, the Paso Doble is going to be the worse one to start off with and even worse, end the show on (assuming other factors change the running order).

As this is a far from inspiring group of celebrities, I'm just looking forward to seeing who, if anyone, can dance.

I really am hoping that there will be at least one amazing dancer, amongst this year's celebrities.
