It's that time of year again....Some love it and others hate it.... Dance

However, BBC have announced the first 'celebrity' to join the line up for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

It's Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays (Frankie Bridge from the same group appeared in 2014)

Sigh, pity the opening sequence doesn't quite get the actual meaning of "You got the love". It isn't a "love" song in that sense...

As said elsewhere atm I do not have a working tv ... but ... enjoy comments above  ^  ^  ^

I'm looking forward to watching the show on the iPlayer tomorrow

Wow Debbie McGee 'bossing' the pasa doble ... ... ... got that one out of the way

I don't have a favourite just yet ... but ... reckon it'll be a blonde female who will lift the SCD trophy

Interesting to see if the judges have a favourite ... they usually do ... & ... it's usually a female celeb

Hope there no 'floats' on the girls' dresses ... & ... the length of the gorgeous floaty ballroom dance dresses do not obscure footwork

Yes, @Cleoriff Debbie McGee surprised me as well. I definitely wasn't expecting that. Blimey I wasn't that limber at 16. She was amazing and in week 1. Well done Debbie.

Loved Alexandra and Gorka and Jonny and Oti. Looking forward to seeing how they progress.

Aston and Janette were deservedly top of the leaderboard. Another surprise for me. I mean I loved him in JLS but wasn't sure why he was on Strictly. No longer wondering. Just hope he hasn't peaked and looking forward to see what else he's got.

Ruth and Brendan were no surprise. I know it's week 1 but Ruth was awful. It looked like Brendan was dancing with a cart horse.

And Rev. Richard again was no surprise. He is going to be the entertainer not the dancer.

I liked Chizzy and Pasha. She is full of life and energy. I enjoy watching her even if she's not perfect in her footwork.

Brian Conley and Simon Rimmer as expected - not very good. But it is week 1 so they coild improve 🤔

I look forward to week 2 and being able to vote. And to seeing how everyone progresses - if they progress.

Was she just! Especially that unexpected kiss at the end caught Giovanni completely off-guard but we'll give her the moment. Some good ones tonight - Joe McFadden was outstanding as was Aston and some will improve over the weeks - Mollie/Davood/Alexandra/Johnnie which I'll stick my neck out and say those mentioned already are the ones for the top end of the series. As for the rest, well second dance's will be interesting and telling.
