It's that time of year again....Some love it and others hate it.... 
However, BBC have announced the first 'celebrity' to join the line up for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.
It's Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays (Frankie Bridge from the same group appeared in 2014)

Apparently there will be no announcement about the next celeb till Friday.......According to the Strictly press office! They need to get a grip in my opinion....all this bobbing about here and there. Not as if its the Oscars!

I read an article online, not sure which paper, saying that all the celebrities so far are B status. I don't know, never heard of any of them myself so I would probably agree.

You aren't far wrong there Steve. Not one has got me excited. I like Gemma out of Emmerdale....and apart from Aston Merrygold I can't claim to know many of the others. (apart from Ruth Langsford)

I think we can all agree not the most exciting line-up ever certainly since I've been watching.
While I like Aston Merrygold he wouldn't have been my first choice out of the various pop groups current and past. And Mollie from the Saturdays?
There's no one that really makes me think ooh I can't wait to see what they can do. The line-up so far is very blah.

How many celebrity contestants are there usually in total during one season?
If you could decide and list the next line-up for 2018, ALL of them

I think there are usually about 16. Tricky question for me re the next line-up for 2018. I did a list and they were predominantly male! I think there have to be an equal number of males and females to start. Trouble is I can't think of that many females I want to see dance....
