David Bowie died yesterday aged 69.He had cancer.

I am unbelievably shocked at this news. He had hidden his illness from the public

He had just released his latest album

R.I.P David. I will never forget Ziggy Stardust

Personally, I haven't listened to his last album much (due to being in Spain etc) but I do think Lazarus was giving us the news of his impending death. In fact all credit to the guy...he was a non conformist in life and seems to have 'stage managed' his death beautifully..... He seemed determined to leave us all one lasting legacy heart

Like any album there are good tracks and some fillers but there are a couple worthy of being released as singles and will no doubt top the charts.

No offence taken.... by me anyway.

By the way I was wrong saying Bowies latest album was at No 1...it isn't officially as far as the UK charts are concerned ... but on some download charts it is. So we wait and see on the 15th I think....

Love it Jonsie!

I was so upset by David Bowie's death.  Although I'm not old enough to have listened to him at his peak I've always loved his music - Ziggy Stardust is one of my all time favourite albums.  I've bought the new album but haven't been able to listen to it yet as I don't have a CD player in my car and haven't had time to put it on iTunes.
