Hi guys not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes I.m having a problem in that I can't listen to music on my pc using cd rom backup cos it says I don't have the right codecs on my pc have tried on microsoft to see if I could download anything to fix it but didnt find anything now it used to work fine but since I updated to win 10 annversery it doesnt so was wondering if you guys can help me ?

The only way to fix it is to copy the license with the music.
Only you can know where the license is so I'm not sure how anyone can help you with that?
Where di the original music come from?
If, as I suspect it's iTunes you're virtually stuffed as far as ripping it to cd's are concerned as it's all done online and you can't retrieve the licenses which stops people from ripping others iTunes libraries.
You can get programmes that do it but they need to be paid for.

wasnt done via itunes thing is I don't have the orignal music anymore cos my dad by mistake took the cd to a shop to trade in for money I find on one of the back up disks a license backup but the floder was empty so cant find them anywhere

I copied it from orignal cd;s computer man back them all up for us I have the backup disks

Sounds like the licences weren't copied across then.
Without them you can't play the music unfortunately.

Don't understand then cos they worked fine when I had upgraded to win 10 but ever since I updated to windows annversary they havent
