Nice destinations to visit this summer?

Hi guys!

I'm planning a holiday for sometime this summer. I went through loads of cities and towns in Google Maps and travel blogs, but there's too many choices to pick from.... Would you help me choose?

The criteria I have:

• Relatively good weather (sunshine!)
• I want to sit in nice little cafes
• About 3 days max. in one place
• Some green areas
• Peaceful and relaxing urban atmosphere! (if that exists? haha)

Someone suggested Philadelphia for the cafes and nice atmosphere. Have you been? It's a bit far though even though sounds tempting. Are there any nice towns around the UK that I could visit perhaps based on your experience?

Any advice appreciated!

one downside  to hawai'i its 20hrs travel from the UK

The Normandy is beautiful (aswell as Bretagne). Mont St. Michel is worth a visit for example.

South France (Avignon, St. Maries-de-la-mer) aswell.

Even I can't stand france, it's kind of beautiful. Have you thought about renting a camping van and seeing more then one point/area?

Ok @Marjo just to add to your list Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Beautiful island, friendly people and good beaches. Some great night tours as well one of which, if they still do it, is to a nightclub called La Cueva. It's a cave which has been turned into a nightclub with a fantastic show. Warning though the path down to club is very very steep so I always recommend low heeled or flat shoes for safety and ease of walking.

I haven't been in a while but I had a great time when I last went and I went on my own.

Awesome, my travel list keeps growing! I'm wondering if I can start ticking off all of these at some point.

@ComaChameleon camping van would be a dream come true however unfortunately I don't drive... 😞 Yet! I keep thinking next month, next month...

Well @Marjo you could tick off all on your list. I'm sure @Anonymous-02 and @Mercedes5 would be happy to cover while you take a long, long, long holiday.....😂

But I'd miss you. Still it's a thought. Ok now I'll get back in my box...😉

I think perhaps I'd tick all of them off within a few years instead... however I wouldn't mind working remotely from Tenerife while sipping a nice cup of coffee and admiring the pretty views.
