Now in my defence I've not played a game on my X-Box in an age !
Recently I acquired the newly released Tomb Raider, and as I've played most of the earlier versions some years ago, I thought id take it to a duck on water andwas doing quite well !
Well along came a part of the game where you fight a guy, and your both on the floor grappling with a handgun. Here you are required to hit the RT button and then hit the 'X' button like a person possessed, to turn the gun round and shoot the baddie.
Now I'm at the point of getting my thumb in spasms and sweat is dripping off me, when my son walks in with his girlfriend, and starts watching me struggle.
At this point I've re played this scene now 5 times and lost.
Then my girlfriend walks in and joins the viewing audience !
My son asks me to pause the game , takes the pad off me and does it first time in seconds.
At this point he has this look of ' I'm ace' on his face, and both women are nearly peeing themselves with laughter, as I'm mumbling away and wiping my face down, and trying to make my thumb work again !
Well that was a check point so I turned it off and sulked ! 
I have the new Tomb Raider on my pc, I used an xbox pad to play it, that part where you fight the guy with the gun took me 3 goes.
My thumb was aching at the end of that part

Well I did ok in that part, but there was a section that took me about 20 goes!
