Granddaughters 5th Birthday today

Its my granddaughters 5th birthday today, and she asked for a new big girls bike.

I'm currently assembling it and just paused for thought.

My thought.....

Shouldn't this be the job of Daddy now as grandad has done this for years past !

It was my 5 year old grandson's birthday recently and we had a great afternoon in the park with around a dozen of his schoolfriends and their parents having a sports day. Egg & Spoon, sack races etc.....and climbing up the trees to bring them down!(boys will be boys!)

Then all back for a buffet tea and plenty of wine and beer for the beleaguered parents! Great weather and a good day all round.
