Hi guys!

Today is International Ask a Question Day. It also coincides with Albert Einstein's birthday - he was born 14 March, 1879. Einstein used to say "The important thing is not to stop questioning" which became one of his most famous quotes.

To celebrate this, here's what I'd like to do together with you in this thread:

  1. I'm going to ask a question in this post
  2. The next member who replies has to provide an answer from their own perspective
  3. After providing an answer, in the same post ask any question from the next person who comes to reply to the thread
  4. .... and so on. Cat Wink

Questioning is how we learn new things. Maybe here we can learn a bit more about each other, or about any other possible topic that you want to ask questions about!

So this question is for whoever replies next: What life changing advice would you give to your younger self if you had the chance to meet them now? slight_smile

Go!

(that was quite a deep one, feel free to ask simple questions too! haha)

Honestly? I'd tell myself to live life my own way, enjoy it and learn from it. There's plenty of things I could tell myself not to do, plenty of mistakes I could avoid, but would I want to avoid them? On reflection, probably not. If I hadn't made them I wouldn't have learned from them, and they wouldn't have shaped who I am today. So no regrets, live the life you love. slight_smile

Now that's deep, haha!

One for the geeks amongst us now...Voyager or DS9, and why?

DS9...it had the more interesting and diverse characters. The better captain. More action and issues that related to the current day. I found Voyager boring - even more than Enterprise.

To carry on the geek theme: what is your favourite Star Wars/Star Trek film?

Return of the Jedi! I remember watching it in excitement with my dad so it has an emotional attachment. slight_smile

I'm still watching Next Gen on Star Trek and haven't yet seen any of the films.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 though this could change when Galaxy's new phone (S 8?) is released. It looks good, has a large screen which is great for playing games and streaming films/TV shows, provides all I would need from a PC (which I don't have) and is easy to use which for a non-techie like me is a big plus.
