They were certainly pleased to get the cooked chicken back on top of their food Jane. My hubby uses what I chop up and leave ready in the fridge......basically then when thats gone ...he can't be assed to do them any more

Do you serve the cat's chicken at room temperature ? ... @Cleoriff ... shame on your hubby, I hope he didn't feed himself chicken whilst you were away & gave none to the cats

My cats discovered bubble wrap recently. It was a not-so-nice surprise very early in the morning for me! They (or at least one of them) were having a lot of fun though.

Anyone else's pet(s) wake you at an ongodly hour of say 5:30am ? ... my Marty does on a regular basis, he wants to go outside, usually I go back to sleep easily but today = not Grrrr  :womanfrustrated:

What's does your cat / dog / pet do when coming in from outside ?

My cat Marty purrs loudly like he's pleased to see me 

Then I gently pick him & place him over my left shoulder, supporting his back legs with my left hand 

He nuzzles fervently my nose where his whiskers are & where his scent gland is & rubs against my left cheek

He smatters (his nose) all over my glasses

Then he's ready & asking for wet food, which he gets  :womanvery-happy:
