miss o2 if I leave

Hello!

Didn't know where to put this. Thanks o2 it took the text you sent today to tell me that you are raising the prices up for bills; this was truly the last nail in the coffin for me to look elsewhere. Sadly enough I am slightly sad to go. Been with you for over 10 years. But your signal of late (few years) has been atrocious. The choices of phones haven't been limited and little insulting, especially if you are on a budget. Not everyone wants an iPhone. Customer service they'd answer the phone which is a start, but things in the past they never dealt with and had to shrug off.

What I'm really going to miss is the priority moments. Which isn't so great, but when you have the deals I like it's really cool. Oh well onto another network, hopefully with better reception!

Glad everyone else is happy with this network though 🙂

Just check the grass is in fact greener elsewhere by checking the reception on other networks before committing yourself.

This problem was really brought about by new and poorly written rules from Ofcom.

None of us are happy with the increase but as Perksie says O2 are just exploiting a legal loophole that ofcom have allowed get a payg sim for the priority moments wink

Good Idea

I'm now finding myself looking at what I still get from o2 and thinking, do I really need it!

There isn't a lot left after what I had a few months ago.

I still get a lousy signal from all of the networks so that doesn't point me anywhere. Smiley Indifferent

Of it wasn't for my discounts I would move on.

Signal is awful at home, 2g waste of time and no 3g. Local mast 5km away been down since Oct and o2 won't say when it will be fixed.

Repeated lies and errors from customer service. Problem is down here Vodafone not much better and the other three networks have bugger all service at home address.

I'm in London so signal not really an issue but to be honest I get loyalty discounts on my account and I've looked around and no one can come close even with the increase I would still end up paying more each month

I live in a semi rural part of the world (Devon).

I think we are due to get electricity in 2017. Seriously though I fought hard cos of the issues hence discount otherwise would have gone.

Lovely place Devon mate good on you you have to push and push they will normally do what they can because of a mess up with my upgrade in store I get the 8gb 4g package for the price of the 5gb for the whole contract and then they reduced it by another £5 a month in there recent shake up of 4g tarrifs whilst I don't agree with the increase I wouldn't get that anywhere else trust me wink

The action by O2 has made everyone now at least looking at their options. 12 months ago I wouldn't have considered leaving O2 but their recent 'stand and deliver' tactics leave me shaking my head in disgust!
