I'm thinking of buying an iPhone 6 outright. I don't want to be tied into a contract for 24 months and don't want to be paying another £30 a month so buying from Apple seems to be sensible.
I currently have a 5S and and I'm trying to work out what I will be gaining if I upgrade to the 6. I've had a play with the phone and I prefer the size as it's that bit bigger than the 5S (the 6 Plus is way too big for me). I also like the idea of the bigger memory.
Any thoughts to help me decide one way or the other?
Thanks in advance.

Not biased at all but...... Note 4

I'm very impressed with the sound. My husband has set it up (I don't have the patience for these things!) and I've got the app downloaded on my phone and it seems pretty easy to use.
I'm a huge Bose fan. The SoundTouch replaces a 20 something year old Wave system (unless I can find somewhere else to keep it which isn't looking likely), we've got the Solo TV box and a iPod docking station. I aspire to owning a car with Bose speakers but I can't see that happening! I've heard good things about Sonos, someone I work with prefers them to Bose.

Is this one of those bose things that supposedly uses long tubes inside to make it sound "better"? Or have they stopped that nonsense now?

I have no idea how it works but it sounds good!

And that is by far the most important thing with any hi-fi setup. I'm not a fan of bose myself, but I always think you should select with your ears.
I don't even recommend brands to people, you have to try the stuff out in person.
Remember once seeing speakers for sale on QVC, and had to wonder how people were being convinced to purchase them, given that they were hearing the demo through their TV speakers

Unless I'd already heard the speakers I wouldn't buy them from QVC! When we were in the Bose store today they demo was One Direction so I made them play me some Bruce Springsteen before I decided to buy!

Years ago, I tested a selection of headphones for somewhere, dunno, might have been Nokia... anyway, I ended up saying that they were all tat, much to the annoyance of the woman doing the survey. She told me to be realistic when I recommended a price of £20, saying it should be more like £70. I said that for less than that I could buy a decent pair .

If you really want a loud blast of sound from any mobile, though, the best way I have found is to put it in the, (empty), bathroom sink.
No, this is not a joke... assuming you have a ceramic tiled bathroom, and a round-ish ceramic sink, (not square), set the phone playing and hold it about 5-10 cm above the plug hole. Move it around and you'll find a "sweet spot", where everything resonates at about 3 times the volume :smileyhappy:.
I won't bother to explain the physics behind it... PM me if you are interested

Just don't accidently turn the tap on 😉
Knowing my luck my phone would end up taking a bath 😔
