@adriannadavey I have never worried about when I charge it as this apple page shows it should not make any differance regarding total battery life http://www.apple.com/batteries/ note each small topup to 100% is added until 1 charge cycle is completed. also the info here http://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html
At night my iphone 5s sits on my sony clock radio slightly modified for my case so never worry about the wifi sleep issue for overnight data (just sold a 4 year old 4 and battery still lasts all day).
sorry bob to go slightly off topic

@@Anonymous how are you finding the 4G speeds ?
Hi,
sadly 4G in not available in my area so on 3G when not connected to WiFi but can't complain as it's fast anyway. Faster than my old galaxy s3, and even faster than my broadband! So I am definitely happy with 3G speeds

Ah right - Fair enough.
To be fair 3G in my area was pretty stable with the old glitch from mast issues which is good really as i've now lost the ability to switch from 3G to 2G !
However 4G now acts like my Bt Infinity Fibre Optic speeds.

I am using BT for broadband but Fibre Optic not supported in my area so you can imagine how slow my speed is. If I ever decide to move, I'll make sure to check the speed in the area before I do!

I'm on B.T Infinity One which gives me close to 40meg download and around 9-10meg upload, which now means I can download material in minutes. I was on the normal Bt Broadband which TBH was fine. I'm too far away from the exchange to warrant a move to infinity 2 ,which gives close to 80meg download. I'd only increase my speeds by around 5meg.

I get 2-3meg upload which is very slow.
I can download material pretty fast so happy with that
@adamtemp64
Thanks for the info/links
Every iPhone user can charge their phones however they want, I will stick to plugging it in when the battery shows 20% as that helps me with good battery life. My phone was charged fully 12 hours ago, used it for 2 hours before bed last night, and for a while this morning, and still have 100% battery left

Battery usage tips, personal thoughts on charging will always continue to be one topic of conversation on these types of forums.
I say..... whatever works for you.
However I do somewhat inner smile when a new phone or update to operating system is released, and the forums can be awash with " this update wipes out my battery" etc.
One tip I find that works 100% of the time is to enter your phones settings and turn off the battery percentage sign, and just enjoy the experience.

I wasn't having a go BTW, I appreciate Adam's input
My phone is up to date and battery is as good as it was, even tho I saw threads from other users saying the new update drains their battery..
No complaints yet about the 5s and I was a bit scared I won't like/enjoy it as much as my old Android. How wrong was I...

Of course you wasn't and i'm sure Adam knows that.
@But beware being rather vocal in a positive way regarding your iPhone 5s may upset @MI5.......lol.
