Re: can anyone recommend a jolly good film to watch

I watched 3 films on a recent flight home:

  • Star Trek (the first prequel movie)
  • Prometheus
  • The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (the original, not Daniel Craig!)

I enjoyed all them to be honest, but there again I'm easy to please.

I'm watching  The Cat In The Hat for the 3rd time today, courtesy of my 3yo.

Yesterday, it was Mr Popper's Penguins.  I have to say I enjoyed/am enjoying both. :-)  Brings out the inner child in me. LOL.

Star Trek is cool. Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nemoy are my favourites in that film...
