Hey everyone,

Chirstmas biscuits are a great snack to have not only at Christmas-time, but throughout December, all of Winter, or anytime from the moment the days start getting shorter until the air warms up again ahead of Spring. Whether it's baking them or eating them, they come in all shapes and flavours!

Biscuits

Below are just a couple of the different ones that I could think of:

  • Gingerbread cookies
  • Sugar cookies
  • Santa's Trash cookies
  • Thumbprint cookies
  • Peanut butter blossoms
  • Snowball cookies
  • Speculoos cookies
  • Lebkuchen cookies
  • Gingersnap cookies

And the list just goes on and on ...

What's your go-to Christmas cookie?

Don't worry if it's not on the above list wink

I don’t have a go to biscuit but i always remember that red box of biscuits ... Family Circle, I think they were called.. all rank but good for a nibble when all the good stuff was gone!

Can’t remember seeing them of late... do they still exist?

I'm fairly sure I've seen them lately. Only the chocolate or the jam cream were worth nibbling.

Oh yes Family Circle. I can remember my Mum used to buy a few tins at Christmas to give to the neighbours.

It was quite a tradition back in the day. We always had a tin for the ward (from grateful patients) innocent

My favourite biscuits are chocolate hobnobs, or shortbread.
