In 2013 - just over a fortnight from now - Jurassic Park will be 20 years old.

Seriously - that film is older than half the people you'll see fighting in your local pub this Christmas Eve.

And if you think that's incredible - the first Lord of the Rings and Pirates of Caribbean films will be 10 years old next year - and the first Spiderman movie is even older.

Is it just me or do those films feel far more recent than that?

worryingly I remember a boyfriend takng me to see JAWS first time round! Please dont work that out, I feel old enough already!
