Another day, another hill.
This is another local "Law". A Scottish word for a conical hill with little surrounding it.
In training for hopefully knocking off a wee munro next week. Maybe.
This one is handy as the bottom of it is pretty much in my sister's garden. 😁

Long time since I last climbed Lochnagar, done it 2 or 3 times, exhilarating. Great photos, @BOSSGOGG.

Going on the weather next week, looks like my son and I shall be trying Ben Lomond. I have been up before - back in the distant past I did the West Highland way and took a detour to run up Ben Lomond on the way past. That would probably kill me now 😁😁😁. It was so many transplants ago 😂😂.

Yes, those are wild ponies. Pretty elusive. Not seen them in the past 6 or so times I have been up the Law.

I've done part of the West Highland Way some years ago and isn't Ben Lomond the mountain right next to Loch Lomond? I miss these wonderful places in Scotland. I should probably visit again some day. Hope we get to see some photos from your hike?

Yes, Ben Lomond is at Rowardennan.
When i did the West Highland Way the first time we did the Start to the youth hostel at Rowardennan on the first day, running most of it. ( 22 or so miles. Would be impossible now 😁 )
Will be driving there this time. 👍😂.
My son is keen to take his DSLR. I said fine, as long as he carries it. 😁.

I stayed at that hostel too with my friend! We were totally unprepared and were not wearing any appropriate hiking gear AT ALL. Mesh type of sneakers etc, tshirt... 
It was a spur of the moment thing one morning, and we hitch-hiked 👀 from Clydebank somewhere where the hiking trails started and walked to the hostel. Some kind person was alarmed at our unpreparedness and gave me their hoodie for the rest of the way 
We didn't go all the way, I think it was about 2 days of clumsy hiking and then back, but it was super fun. Apart from being drenched from the rain at some point and half falling into a stream.
