Picture taken whilst out walking with the wee man. Just given him his first DSLR.
Hopefully he can teach me a few tricks.
( picture taken on my cell phone, his results were awesome - playing with a Canon DSLR and a nifty fifty mm prime - got to learn to zoom with your feet first - composition is everything )
Stunning photo @BOSSGOGG

Well, it's been a while...
Since I last ventured into the photo topic, I have sold my phantom 4 pro drone.. boo hoo.
...and replaced it with this monster:
A DJI inspire 2, haven't got the camera attached in this picture, but it's big, pretty much a flying DSLR and movie camera rolled into one.
Here's one of its lenses
Only thing is, UK weather has been **** since I got this in November, so fast forward a few months of testing and general Christmas stuff.. and a trip to Scotland in the snow was calling...

The Highlands in winter sounds amazing, only problem is of course, that the reality is that it's mostly a damp, windy, rainy time of year ,excluding a few weeks where you can almost guarantee snow and ice, historically that's the last weekend of January.
As luck would have it, this year was an exception and the week before we went, it all melted but for a few bits on the highest of peaks.
It did however turn cold again on the second evening so we got some winter weather.
The drive up was good..
The ski resort was melted away
Turned colder..
We went up in ski resort after the snow came, and saw
Heading down after playing in the snow, we saw an amazing sunset happening, and got to the car asap to get the drone up.
We chased it to the valley car park,
And from there, could finally put up the drone.
That one from my A6000
