the bleakness of Llanberis (Pass)

the 'whatever' of Beaumaris castle

statuesque Conwy castle sitting pretty in the town & along the nice coastline around there

thank you very much @liggerz87 for posting these stunning photos

very poignant for me today (being Fathers Day) as my dad took us all over North Wales as far down as Aberdovey, which I suppose is mid Wales

1st holiday was in Sarn Faen caravan park, Tal-y-Bont near Llanbedrr

Taken at "Romford Dogs"just before we acquired Gizmo's Socks, our racing retiree. He died a few years back, so this photo must be around a decade old.

I was reminded of him on reading a Guardian article on the continuing poor treatment of retired racing greyhounds

I used to love going to greyhound racing years ago, until I realised (through the Greyhound Trust) how badly they were treated when no longer fit to race.

Great photo @Projectionist
