Welcome to the Word Hunt Diamond - Game 98

The game is open to all members.

Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted.

The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.

This week`s "diamond" is as follows:

                                                                                         R

                                                                                     S       T

                                                                                  U     V      B

                                                                                      E       I

                                                                                          O

This week`s target is 53 words - using only letters in the diamond - inc one 9-letter word - and all words must be four letters or more and include the red-letter V.

PLEASE NOTE:

During the game, I will have to STOP the game periodically so I can give updates of words found.

Please be patient and wait. I hope this does not cause too much delay or disruption to the game.

Towards the end of the game, as soon as the LAST WORD in the list is given, I will post an announcement

- LAST WORD FOUND. PLEASE STOP THE GAME -

and I will then post my reply to the words given up to the announcement, showing whether the word is in the list or is a word not in the list;

after that, I will post the Congratulations - who found the last word; who found the nine-letter word; and who gave the most words not in the list up to when I posted the announcement LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME.

I will be giving awards to players

star star  - to player who finds the nine-letter word

trophytrophy - to the player who finds the last word in the list in the source used for the game

dogdiamond dog - to the player who finds the most words not in the list up to when announcement -

     LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME [words given after the announcement will not count]

The rules:

No proper names are allowed.

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter V.

Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, VISIT isn`t allowed]

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter V

Only one word per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

The Word Hunt Diamond game is open to all members.

I hope the Diamond Dogs of Words [thanks @pgn for the term] - those who have played in previous

Word Hunt Diamond games - including

@Cleoriff @pgn @BobM @gmarkj @Bambino @TallTrees @J9el @RafaC @Projectionist @MI5 @lewys-gp

and any member who has not played before or has not played for a while; and any new member will join in and play today`s WHD.

Can you, between you, not only find the 53 words in the list [in the source used for this game], and the

nine-letter word in this WHD game, but also find additional words not in the list ?

Good luck everyone and have fun...

No, I meant as a real word in the list @Mi-Amigo. Educational this is, as I tried BOUVIER and until this morning I had no idea what it was (until I looked it up.) Every day's a school day 😂
