Word Hunt Diamond - Game 91

Welcome to the Word Hunt Diamond - Game 91

The game is open to all members.

Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted.

The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.

This week`s "diamond" is as follows:

This week`s target is 56 words - using only letters in the diamond - inc one 9-letter word - and all words must be four letters or more and include the red-letter T.

PLEASE NOTE:

During the game, I will have to STOP the game periodically so I can give updates of words found.

Please be patient and wait. I hope this does not cause too much delay or disruption to the game. 

Towards the end of the game, as soon as the LAST WORD in the list is given, I will post an announcement

- LAST WORD FOUND. PLEASE STOP THE GAME - 

and I will then post my reply to the words given up to the announcement, showing whether the word is in the list or is a word not in the list; 

after that, I will post the Congratulations - who found the last word; who found the nine-letter word; and who gave the most words not in the list up to when I posted the announcement LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME.

I will be giving awards to players 

  star  - to the player who finds the nine-letter word

  trophy - to the player who finds the last word in the list in the source used for the game

  diamond dog - to the player who finds the most words not in the list up to when announcement -

     LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME [words given after the announcement will not count]

The rules:

No proper names are allowed.

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter T.

Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, TILT isn`t allowed]

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter T

Only one word per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

The Word Hunt Diamond game is open to all members.

I thought this WHD might be trickier with fewer vowels in the grid - and only seemed like 561 words with the speed you guys were finding words 😂

@pgn Fight was found by @Cleoriff but was not added to the list as you noted, but it was counted as a word in the total number of words, so the number of words found was correct (By my maths anyway)

I knew it had gone but also missed not seeing it on the list though - A lot of very similar looking words today.

Very similar words, @Anonymous - @Mi-Amigo probably mentally blocked it out anyway, as fighting with answers dropping down the thread makes for the odd muttered expletive 😇

The Word Grids I did before Christmas were occasionally stymied by that too, especially if an answer takes a while to put in (like an update, or some other aspect of Community Forum Recalcitrance ("the disappearing movie camera icon for embedding YouTube links" being one!).

To explan the word FIGHT not being in the grid...

FIGHT was found by @Cleoriff and I made a note of it on my list of words in the list but missed including it in the actual list of words on Update although the number of words found was correct.

So when it came to the race to the end, the number of words left to find was correct, and @Anonymous did find the last word on the list.

With similar words in the list, it was easy for me to miss a word off the Update list and apologise for that.

To be honest, I never even noticed. Mind you, I felt unwell this morning so wasn't checking every word I posted. I feel much better now and my opinion is, I don't care. 😂😂

All in all, I enjoyed the game as I do every week and it's not a major issue. It's a game and it's fun. 😘
