The Word Hunt Diamond Game is posted on Off Topic every Tuesday and is open to all members.
The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.
Today`s Word Hunt Diamond has the following grid....

This week`s target is a target of 72 words - using only letters in the diamond - inc one 9-letter word.
RULES
No proper names are allowed.
Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter F.
Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.
Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word
Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter F.
Each player may post up to two words per post.
Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again but if the game is running slow,
and no-one has posted for at least 10 mins, then a player may post again.
PLEASE NOTE:
During the game, I will have to STOP the game periodically so I can give updates of words found.
Please be patient and wait. I hope this does not cause too much delay or disruption to the game.
Towards the end of the game, as soon as the LAST WORD in the list is given, I will post an announcement - LAST WORD FOUND. PLEASE STOP THE GAME - and I will then post my reply to the words given up to the announcement, showing whether the word is in the list or is a word not in the list; after that, I will post the Congratulations - who found the last word; who found the nine-letter word; and who gave the most words not in the list up to when I posted the announcement LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME.

Can you, between you, not only find the 72 words in the list [in the source used for this game], and the nine-letter word in this WHD game, but also find additional words not in the list ?

Please note - there will be NO Word Hunt Diamond game for the next couple of weeks.
As much as I like running WHD, with 140 WHD games played, it is becoming increasing difficult to find a suitable grid. Although there are plenty of nine-letter words, without a repeated letter, the targets are very large - in some cases over 100 words in the list - which would take all week to solve. In addition, the game calls for a lot of work - checking words against the list; checking words not in the list in dictionaries; and also checking for words which have previously been given; as well as Updates and then the final post when the game has been solved.
So with all that in mind, I am going to have to take a break from WHD. But don`t worry, it is NOT the end of WHD which will be back in a couple of weeks.
Thanks to all the Diamond Dogs of Words who have taken part. I hope you will join in when WHD returns

Sorry. This is what happens with leapfrogging on the forum while I am typing.
I really don`t want to have to go back and change the last post with the grid and words, but will accept the two words you gave as being before the announcement, so
27 words found = @pgn found most - 14; @Cleoriff found 13.
Another reason why I need that break 😂

As sad as I am about the 2 weeks rest for WHD, I fully understand your decision @Mi-Amigo.
@pgnand I have discussed the amount of work you put into this game.
If it's no fun for you then it's time to have a break.
The problem is, we have no idea, week to week, how many will be playing. The only person who doesn't work full time is me and in fairness, I have just been banging words out as fast as I can because others are busy with their jobs.
So bye for now WHD, I'll miss you. ❤️
