Word Hunt Diamond - Game 105

Welcome to

The Word Hunt Diamond Game is posted on Off Topic every Tuesday and is open to all members.

The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.

Today`s Word Hunt Diamond has the following grid....

This week`s target is 64 words - using only letters in the diamond - inc one 9-letter word - and all words must be four letters or more and include the red-letter L.

PLEASE NOTE:

During the game, I will have to STOP the game periodically so I can give updates of words found.

Please be patient and wait. I hope this does not cause too much delay or disruption to the game. 

Towards the end of the game, as soon as the LAST WORD in the list is given, I will post an announcement - LAST WORD FOUND. PLEASE STOP THE GAME - and I will then post my reply to the words given up to the announcement, showing whether the word is in the list or is a word not in the list; after that, I will post the Congratulations - who found the last word; who found the nine-letter word; and who gave the most words not in the list up to when I posted the announcement LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME.

I will be giving awards to players 

      star  - to player who finds the nine-letter word

                trophy - to player who finds the last word in the list in the source used for the game

diamond dog - to player who finds the most words not in the list up to when announcement - LAST WORD FOUND, PLEASE STOP THE GAME [words after announcement will not count]

 The rules:

No proper names are allowed.

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter L.

Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, HALL isn`t allowed]

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter L

Only one word per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

The Word Hunt Diamond game is open to all members.

Can you, between you, not only find the 64 words in the list [in the source used for this game], and the nine-letter word in this WHD game, but also find additional words not in the list ?

Words not in the list - up to notice to stop the game last word found = total of 29 words

- most words not in the list found by @pgn  who found 14 words not in the list

Well done everyone. Weird game this time really, with not many playing we doubled up a lot but there you go.

With so many words not in the list found this time, the game certainly kept me busy with checking the words not in the list but whilst that is not a problem and I`m quite used to, and enjoy, seeing those obscure words, I admit that I struggled with this game because of the double spacing which caused the thread to spill over to more pages than normal which meant additional Updates.

Sorry that you missed out on the game again and you are experiencng issues wth posting emojis.

Hopefully, the issues will be corrected before next Tuesday`s WHD but I`m not holding my breath. Nevertheless I plan to sort out a new game for nextweek and hope that more of our usual wordsmiths and maybe some newbies will take part.
