Win 7 update causing problems.

You might want to uninstall this update which has been withdrawn but is more than likely already on your Win 7 pc.

Thanks for the heads up. It hasn't caused me any problems, but I've uninstalled it anyway.

Nor me but I thought it best to be safe.

As they have withdrawn it I guess it has the capability to cause problems that might not occur straight away.

MS are rewriting it so it will be re-issued when it's fixed.

Thanks. I will bookmark it. Strangely enough, Windows Update is still telling me that security update is still available. I wonder why?
