As mentioned in the Advanced Notice on Monday, this week`s White Room Quiz is eight "easier" questions selected from various quiz books, in which six questions are classed as "easy" and two are classed as "medium" - but I`m not saying which questions are in the "easy" or "medium" classes.

There is no QI-style question, where the answer is not what everyone thinks it is.

Good luck, everyone

PLEASE NOTE AMENDED TIMES BELOW FOR SENDING YOUR PM'S WITH ANSWERS

The White Room Quiz is open to all members

Cruiserweight? I always thought there was something odd about boxers... 😁

So who knows *why* Potassium has the symbol K? Hint: It's related to why the metal above it in the Periodic Table has the symbol Na. 🙊

@pgn  My dad was an amateur boxer way back in the day. That's the only reason I knew that one!

He was also a semi professional ballroom dancer when he married Mum.

Before that? Well, let's just say he was a bit of a bad boy (If he had lived in Birmingham I expect he would have been a Peaky Blinder) yahoo
