@RafaC - Reggie Miller! what a player he was! His Pacers were fantastic and Jermaine O’Neill was brilliant too!

I follow the Chicago Bulls and to a lesser extent Atlanta Hawks, as in the late 80’s and 90’s it was all about Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippin and Dominique Wilkins for me! In fact, MJ has always been one of my biggest sporting heros - have you watched the Netflix doc ‘The Last Dance?’ It’s all about Jordan and the 90’s Bulls. Phenomenal.

@J9el Oh my, that Pacers  team was fantastic indeed!

Chicago Bulls was the team I used to follow too, and to be completely honest, I grew up having MJ as my greatest idol. 'The Last Dance' is brilliant, thanks for mentioning it as I always forget to rewatch it and is something that I really want to do.

I also got a Dikembe Mutombo's Atlanta Hawks jersey, big fan of their team back in the '90s too!
I used to have loads of NBA jersey's back then because my dad used to go to the US all the time to work, and as he knew I was a fan, he brought home with him a jersey from every place he visited. As I grew older, I had to sell or donate most of them as they wouldn't fit me anymore, but there are a few left from that era that I still use till this day!

Let hope some NBA questions come up @RafaC! 🤣

If you like Podcasts you may like ‘Death on the Wing’ It’s a fascinating and tragic listen about the NBA and is set against the backdrop of Reagan’s America. The penultimate episode features the great Chuck D of Public Enemy.
