So interesting - how many munroes have I walked, and I've never really noticed before, @TallTrees!
But investigation shows the OS Map Keys are on line and included here for ref:
1:25000 is a boundary - black dotted

1:50000 is a footpath - red "dotted", after a fashion:

Ah no on-line just maps in "the old days" @pgn
Interesting you have braved the Munros ~ seems Scotland can't make up their minds "how many munros there are" but there are plenty to chose from.
I have been out for Munro climbs but must say ONLY in a support capacity. I am not a
good climber ~ and the winds can be very strong there, no crampons or ice axes for me,
thank you very much
There is one on Sky and is quite a nasty bit of work called "the inaccessible Pinnacle"
last time having sent "my brave ones" off on their way (whilst I had held the fort at home)
I was told there were 80 mile an hour winds there and they could not stand up!
All came back in one piece though.

I've not been up that many of the munros (Scottish mountains of at least 3000ft in height!), @TallTrees, but the ones I did get to, it was absolutely required to have not one but two maps of the area - between rain and a midgie-swat, maps tended to have shor lifespans!
Never bothered with the dotted lines though, it must be said.
I've camped within view of or near the foot of a couple on Skye, the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr come to mind. It can be breezy in the Western Isles!
A night at a campsite outside Westport, Co. Mayo in Ireland was pretty memorable - in a camper van that time, but the tent that had been about 20m away from us the night before was gone the following morning, just some debris and a shredded groundsheet to show where it had been. I can only assume the occupants had had the presence of mind to bed-down in the site office before the wind whisked the canopy away...
