Today`s WRQ celebrates the THIRD ANNIVERSARY of the WHITE ROOM QUIZ.

This quiz is 8 questions, with one questions on each of the categories

Each question is on the theme of "third".

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

Those wishing to take part must pm me - @Mi-Amigo  - their answers between 12 noon today [Wednesday] and 11.59pm tomorrow [Thursday].

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

Q8 SPORT - Which country`s football team won the third FIFA World Cup in 1938 ?

The White Room Quiz is open to all members of the Community.

Those who want to take part must send a pm [private message] to me [Mi-Amigo] with their answers between 12 noon today [Wed 03 Aug 2022] and 23.59 [11.59pm] tomorrow [Thurs 04 Aug 2022] - allowing 36 hours to pm your answers.

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

The answers - and results for each player taking part - will be posted on morning of Fri 05 Aug 2022

Each member will be awarded for each correct answer. In addition, Thinkers will be awarded as follows

THE RULES

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me [Mi-Amigo] after 12 noon today [Wed 03 Aug 2022] and before 23.59 [11.59pm] tomorrow [Thurs 04 Aug 2022].

No member is to post any answer on the thread.

Any answer received after 23.59 [11.59pm] on Thurs 04 Aug 2022 will be declared void.

No googling, wiki, youtube search for answers.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

New members, who have recently joined the Community, and members who have not taken part before, are welcome to join the "regulars" with this week`s quiz. 

Please feel free to post any comments on the questions - but not the answers - on this thread.

If you have any questions about the quiz, please ask and I will reply here.

Yes we`ve had three years of the White Room Quiz during which time we`ve had some real head-scratchers, which no-one knew the answers to, and also had questions which celebrity quizzers [inc Paul Sinah of The Chase and a member of The Eggheads] got wrong on TV but when put to WRQ quizzers some got them right. 

I admit to being very proud of WRQ and love searching out and compiling the questions and am so gratefule to all those, past and present, who have taken part in WRQ over the past three years.

Thanks @Mi-Amigo, 3 years of the WRQ deserved a great quiz to be celebrated! On the football question, I knew it wasn't Brazil as I know the 5 years we've won the World Cup by heart, but couldn't remember that Italy won a title so earlier in the tournament's history.

Suckered by the river - and there was me thinking one of the top 3 would be excluded as it traverses Wales for a part of its course, elevating the 4th longest in the British Isles up to 3rd in England.

I think I out-thought myself there 🤣

Can’t believe I got 4 correct answers on that quiz, it was so hard I just guessed at a few and somehow got two right. 😂
