There are two White Room Quizzes each week - one on Monday and one on Wednesday.

 

Today`s White Room Quiz is eight questions - with two questions on each of these categories

- PEOPLE   NATURE    ART   GAMES

 

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

Those wishing to take part must pm me - @Mi-Amigo  - their answers between 12 noon today [Wednesday] and 11.59pm tomorrow [Thursday].

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

Q5 PEOPLE 2 - Name either of the two people who shared the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 

 

Q6 NATURE 2 - What type of bird is a yellow-bellied sapsucker ? 

 

Q7 ART 2 - Which artist painted "Madonna of the Chair" - with Virgin Mary, Infant Jesus and another child -

                   in 1514 ? 

 

Q8 GAMES 2 - In which card game can a player be "skunked" ?

 

The White Room Quiz is open to all members of the Community.

Those who want to take part must send a pm [private message] to me [Mi-Amigo] with their answers between 12 noon today [Wed 01 June 2022] and 23.59 [11.59pm] tomorrow [Thurs 02 June 2022] - allowing 36 hours to pm your answers.

Please do not post your answers on the thread.

The answers - and results for each player taking part - will be posted on morning of Fri 03 June 2022

Each member will be awarded star.pngfor each correct answer. In addition, Thinkers will be awarded as follows

THE RULES

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me [Mi-Amigo] after 12 noon today [Wed 01 June 2022] and before 23.59 [11.59pm] tomorrow [Thurs 02 June 2022].

No member is to post any answer on the thread.

Any answer received after 23.59 [11.59pm] on Thurs 02 June 2022 will be declared void.

No googling, wiki, youtube search for answers.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

New members, who have recently joined the Community, and members who have not taken part before, are welcome to join the "regulars" with this week`s quiz. 

Please feel free to post any comments on the questions - but not the answers - on this thread.

If you have any questions about the quiz, please ask and I will reply here.

I hope everyone likes the questions in today`s White Room Quiz, and finds this WRQ fun.

in 1514 ?

A7 Raphael - thought this was probably the hardest art question we have had

It was @Mi-Amigo and for some strange reason I couldn't think of his first name but remembered his surname! Will that count?

Sorry I was offline.

Considering Q7 was the hardest art question and as @Cleoriff did give his surname, I think it is only fair to mark her answer as correct and to award her a star. So this means @Cleoriff also qualifies for  Silver Thinker along with @pgn .

Well done each and everyone of you who took part. Much appreciated.

As said, over the weekend I`m going to search out a mixed bag of questions in the four categories for Monday`s WRQ.

Oh thanks so much @Mi-Amigo. Really stupid that I couldn't remember his first name but his surname must have stuck in my mind when I did that History of Art course all those years ago.

I'll look forward to Monday's quiz xx
