Today`s White Room Quiz is the Boxing Day Edition with 8 Boxing Day-related questions.

There is one question on each of these categories  

- HISTORY   PEOPLE   PLACES   LITERATURE   MUSIC   SPORT   GAMES    EVENTS

 

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

Those wishing to take part must pm me - @Mi-Amigo  - their answers between 12 noon today [Monday] and 03.00 am Wednesday

Q6 SPORT - In cricket, the Boxing Day Test Match is held in which Australian city ?

 

Q7 GAMES - The game of Bandy, similar to ice hockey, is celebrated on Boxing Day - 26 Dec - in which

                      European country, which also founded the first national Bandy League in 1902 ?

 

Q8 EVENTS - The Boxing Day Swim, known as "the coldest dip in Wales", where participants jump into the

                       sea, started in 1970 and is held annually in which Welsh town ?

The answers - and results for each player taking part - will be posted on morning of Wed 28 Dec 2021

 

Each member will be awarded star.pngfor each correct answer. In addition, Thinkers will be awarded as follows

THE RULES

Each member must pm [private message] their answers to me [Mi-Amigo] after 12 noon today [Mon 26 Dec 2022] and before 03.00am Wed 28 Dec 2022].

No member is to post any answer on the thread.

Any answer received after 03.00am on Wednesday 28 Dec 2022 will be declared void.

No googling, wiki, youtube search for answers.

 

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

New members, who have recently joined the Community, and members who have not taken part before, are welcome to join the "regulars" with this week`s quiz. 

 

Please feel free to post any comments on the questions - but not the answers - on this thread.

If you have any questions about the quiz, please ask and I will reply here.
