Welcome to

white-room-quiz2.png

There are two White Room Quizzes each week - one on Monday and one on Wednesday.

As last Wednesday`s quiz was the White Room Regulars` Choice Quiz, I thought it might be fun to have a follow-up.

Over the weekend, I researched and found eight questions - with one question on each category which either did not receive enough points to be in last Wed`s WRQ or received no votes at all - so today`s WRQ will one question on each of these categories

Well done to all who took part.
I knew Spain and France were involved but forgot about Portugal!

Thank you @gmarkj

That was what made this question one of the difficult ones. [The other question rated "difficult" was the longest coastline question]. Well done on getting the Red Thinker.

Well done people and thank you @Mi-Amigo

Bit of a bone of contention re the longest coastline if you count all the very small inlets

Damn the Ordnance survey people!

Thank you @jonsie

Sorry you just missed out on the Silver Thinker.

As said, the coastline question was rated as one of the two "difficult" questions [and is probably one that is a bone of contention] and confirmed the answer from Ordnance Survery as a reliable source.

Hope you like today`s categories and questions.

The coastline was an educated guess - I would have thought it was either Cornwall or Kent based on the shape (they stick out so have the sea to north and south) but thought Cornwall was slightly bigger.

Well thought out @gmarkj . That might account for how Ordnance Survey measured it.
