There are two White Room Quizzes each week - one on Monday and one on Wednesday.

Each White Room Quiz will have eight questions - with two questions from four categories.

The White Room Quiz is open to all members.

Those wishing to take part must pm me - @Mi-Amigo - with their answers between 12 noon today [Monday] and 11.59pm tomorrow [Tuesday]

Over the weekend, I have selected eight questions - with questions from each of these cateories

Please note: there is no QI-style question in which the answer is not what most people think.

As three questions in the last White Room Quiz were rated as difficult, I hope everyone finds today`s questions a little easier.

TODAY`S EIGHT QUESTIONS

Q1 [PLACES - 1] In which county in England are the Tarr Steps, reputedly the oldest bridge in England ?

Q2 [NATURE - 1]  What type of animal is a Suffolk punch ?

Please feel free to post any comments on the questions - but not the answers - on this thread.

If you have any questions about the quiz, please ask and I will reply here.

Good luck, everyone

Woohoo, thanks awfully, @Mi-Amigo - and we all learned that there are three 3-spired cathedrals in the UK today.
Life's a learning journey 👍😉
I thought Cornwall's bid for independence had come true for a while there 🤣
