@gmarkj Yeah I cant either (just looked). Maybe it wont be available until the new terms are in place? I don't remember accepting them yet.

Perhaps they wanted to give everyone a fair warning. I know Whatsapp as a company have been pretty good privacy wise in the past.

I received the updated T&Cs this morning, and have opted out of sharing my account information with Facebook (i.e for advertising purposes). There seems to be a fair amount of confusion over this, but I was watching BBC news this morning, where they confirmed that it's only Facebook users who are affected anyway, and that's where the adverts would be displayed, not on WhatsApp. But they've made it easy to opt out, so it's not really that much of an issue.

They should be available to everyone when you open WhatsApp.

@Anonymous @jonsie Thanks for the heads up guys. I'll try rebooting the app see if that generates the new terms page for me. Whatsapp is rarely closed on my phone! It's one of my essential apps.
