Hey guys,
If you had to pick one moment from all time sporting history as your favourite or most stand out moment what would it be?
I’m only a casual follower of team sports but for me Rene Higuita’s scorpion-kick save from the England v Colombia friendly in 1995 was out of this world! Totally unexpected and he pulled it off too!
How about you guys, what great sporting moments really stick in your mind?

@Bambino That fight was on my short list. Such an incredible show of skill from both fighters!
@jonsie Some great choices there. If you had to narrow it down to one from your list which event would it be?

- Ian Botham in the Ashes Series in 1981. Hitting 149 runs in the second innings, tremendous and unforgettable
- Obviously the 1966 World Cup matches, not least that amazing final
- England winning the Rugby World Cup in 2003
- Mo Farrah's double gold at the 2012 Olympics
- The 1999 Champions League Final where Man United scored twice in the last 2 minutes to beat Bayern and complete the Treble.
All of them but for shear excitement and emotion, the last one....

A lot to choose from...(and in no order)
*Nadia Comaneci and her 'perfect 10' at the Montreal Olympics in 1976
* Torville and Dean. World Champions at the Winter Olympics in 1984 (the highest scoring figure skaters of all (at that time)
* Mo Farrah unbeatable at the London Olympics
* British Rowing teams knocking everyone else out of the water London 2012
* England winning World Cup 1966
* Lewis Hamilton becoming F1 World Champion three times....

@Cleoriff Woah! not being the most flexible person just watching that makes my joints ache
I'll ask you the same question as jonsie, if you had to select one out of your list to be your best ever moment which one would it be?
