Spotted a leader in a news item earlier this week that had me wondering what was wrong with it:

Subconsciously (not unconsciously!) something appears to be off with it, don't you think ?

 

"ravaged" would suffice. 

 

Or "rampaged through". 

 

But not "ravaged through", surely?

 

I dunno.

Not cool to use an adjective and adverb together....
