What made me happy today...

Hey guys.

In one of my old forums I was a member of (not existing anymore since this year), we had a thread where everybody just told in short what made them happy this day. Thought it would be nice for here too!

To start: I'm working for EMS and my first call today was am expected birth. So we hoped we would be able to bring her into hospital just in time. But it didn't work. I was at the patient and she just said "it's coming"... My team-mate was driving REALLY fast, it took him about an kilometer to brake - during that time the baby was just born. Even we were a really young team and not long into job, we did VERY well and even the doctors told us we did excellent.

(Our last call was a reanimation on the street, the woman did not get an own circulation again.... But I guess that's the circle of life :D)

Got my vaccine yesterday -finally! 

Had a muscle ache for about 24 hours - and now it's all fine.

I have my 2nd vaccine in 2 weeks. Both of my sons have had first dose.

It's on hold here - again. But it'll be offered 60+ from tomorrow on - on a voluntary base.

We were all fine @ComaChameleon. I felt a few flu like symptoms 2 days after but they only lasted a day. My husband and 2 sons had no ill effects at all.

Was same here, @ComaChameleon - jab last Saturday, AstraZeneca, and as I sat on Sunday afternoon on my living room sofa, the ears began to burn, but by Monday it was back to normal except for a dull ache raising the jabbed arm above shoulder level... All good by Weds pm though.

Only worry was the Canadian report of clots in females under 55years, from day 4 to day 21 or so. Thankfully only a really tiny number of such cases, but worrying nevertheless for the lady of the house..
