Hey guys.
In one of my old forums I was a member of (not existing anymore since this year), we had a thread where everybody just told in short what made them happy this day. Thought it would be nice for here too!
To start: I'm working for EMS and my first call today was am expected birth. So we hoped we would be able to bring her into hospital just in time. But it didn't work. I was at the patient and she just said "it's coming"... My team-mate was driving REALLY fast, it took him about an kilometer to brake - during that time the baby was just born. Even we were a really young team and not long into job, we did VERY well and even the doctors told us we did excellent.
(Our last call was a reanimation on the street, the woman did not get an own circulation again.... But I guess that's the circle of life :D)

Be very careful @ComaChameleon
You might be the best, most careful and most patient of riders but it's the bustards on the road you have to watch out for
I saw the guy coming but couldn't get out of the way....

I agree with @jonsie,. Having specialised in Orthopaedics and trauma, I've seen some life changing injuries for motorcyclists. Most of the time it's not their fault. So take great care @ComaChameleon and stay safe. 😉

I lost a full year of life in various hospitals and just have a partial life now until I expire
I was only kept going by the wonderful friends I made on here and their kind messages when I was languishing in a Thai ICU for 3 months
Just a split second from living the dream to a lifetime of depression and misery
so yes, do take great care @ComaChameleon

Thanks
The first owner was a Susanne. But that sounds like a Suzuki, so it doesn't fit really well...
Thank you both. I know, I saw enough of them and threated them too on the streets. That's the reason I would never go without protection and I bought really good stuff.
I'm not a racer anyway. Got a travel-enduro. And I'm very careful. I only need to keep more distance to the front. But I'll work on that once she is ready.
Today we ordered the kit. 3 weeks delivery time as they're custom made per customer. As it's bad weather it's kinda ok (but still sad about that).

I know you will be careful and considerate when biking @ComaChameleon
Comes with the job!
Let us know what your bike name is when you have decided.
Update on kit and how going would be great too.
Glad you have invested in good protection.
Weather will get better 😌
Waiting here 🙄
Bye for now.

Today I got a spontaneous appointment at the licensing department, so I went there straightly after work. So she is registred on me now. I sat on her again and choped my ankle against the footrest.... Yea... Didn't knew it can hurt that bad from such a little knock.
The compression leg is ordered, so now I have to wait.
I was able to reach the ground and I could already drive it, but it's too unsafe in my eyes, so I'll wait that time.
That's her: Click HERE
Thank you both
And surely I'll be safe, at least I'll try my best xx
