Hey guys.

In one of my old forums I was a member of (not existing anymore since this year), we had a thread where everybody just told in short what made them happy this day. Thought it would be nice for here too!

To start: I'm working for EMS and my first call today was am expected birth. So we hoped we would be able to bring her into hospital just in time. But it didn't work. I was at the patient and she just said "it's coming"... My team-mate was driving REALLY fast, it took him about an kilometer to brake - during that time the baby was just born. Even we were a really young team and not long into job, we did VERY well and even the doctors told us we did excellent.

(Our last call was a reanimation on the street, the woman did not get an own circulation again.... But I guess that's the circle of life :D)

My son called me ... ... ... always a boost for me

He and my daughter-in-law have been home 2 weeks after a week away in the far north west of Scotland. They went self catering and did a lot of walking. Their accommodation was right on the Atlantic coastline ... reasonable weather, fresh air ... a relaxing time for both

Their cat Juno was put in a cat hotel or kitty prison as my daughter-in-law calls it, the cats are not let out of their cubicles

My son got a good deal selling his wife's car ... ... ... he takes her to work and brings her home ... he has a company car and Emma is registered on that

My son continues to work at home ... he has just finished installing a grey en-suite with just the decorating to do

Leeds is in tier 3 lockdown now so I'm glad they managed to have a break away

Alex only goes out to the supermarket and to take Emma to and from work

Nothing like son keeping in touch with his ol' mum ... havn't seen them since Saturday before last Christmas ... = ... it doesn't matter so long as they are both safe, well and happy including the cat Juno, of course.
