What made me happy today...

Hey guys.

In one of my old forums I was a member of (not existing anymore since this year), we had a thread where everybody just told in short what made them happy this day. Thought it would be nice for here too!

To start: I'm working for EMS and my first call today was am expected birth. So we hoped we would be able to bring her into hospital just in time. But it didn't work. I was at the patient and she just said "it's coming"... My team-mate was driving REALLY fast, it took him about an kilometer to brake - during that time the baby was just born. Even we were a really young team and not long into job, we did VERY well and even the doctors told us we did excellent.

(Our last call was a reanimation on the street, the woman did not get an own circulation again.... But I guess that's the circle of life :D)

Thanks, @viridis - pretty clearly an EU-type colour scheme in that shot, even if the stars are more.

A bit like the outfit and flowery hat that HM The Queen wore a couple of years back - did that cause as much of a brouhaha?

I completely missed the EU flag in the New Years fireworks. Must be the only one

I was out and not near a tv so completely missed the fireworks. Not too sad about that....

Well as I was in and not pub crawling or at a party. they were the highlight of my night

Fireworks are overrated. Especially in black and white.. was in bed for 9...

I've never seen fireworks in black and white so I wouldn't know

It was a great show combined with the concert by Madness. Loved it..

It doesn't take much to make me happy

On 1 Jan I saw a ladybug  at my bedroom window inside

On 2 Jan she was on the landing walls

I wonder where she is today?

Always ladybirds at the inside of my bedroom window, must be mild to her
