Apart from the standard apps which come with most phones (messages, calendar, calculator) what app can you not live without? What is the app that you have to use at least once a day?

I have to admit, although I claim not to be a Facebook or Twitter addict, I have to at least check them everyday.

I also like to keep up-to-date with the news so if I don't go on the news websites on the computer then I check the news apps on my phone.

In contrast, the one app that I will never use is the stocks app.

For me it would have to be Keepass password manager and it's incarnations on all the platforms I use.

I never use the stocks app either even though I do have shares in a couple of companies.

Evernote and Google calendar. With my memory I would be lost without them!

I would not go so far as to say I cannot live without them but I do like and make substantial use of:-

EverNote (Premium  - kindly funded by O2 for 12 months)

WordWeb - an excellent dictionary and thesaurus with a useful word search feature - type in letters and spaceholders to get a list of words to help solve that crossword clue that just eludes you for the moment.

Google Maps with Street View - also has very helpful navigation feature.

S Translator - handy translation app which will also allows you to listen to the translation in  the selected foreign language. (limited to French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese)

For me:

- ASDA app. It's one of the better grocery shopping apps out there, for me.
- IFTTT app
- Traktor DJ (iPad, for mixing/DJ on the go)
- Zooper Widget Pro - I love making my own widgets and themes!
- Unified Remote - Control my PC, netflix, VLC, winamp, browser... everything, from my Android
- OpenVPN for Android

And of course, all the O2 apps 😉 Priority Moments, Priority Tickets, My O2, TU Go...

I don't think there's any I can't live without out but I would miss Sky News and Sky Sports if I didn't have them. Also the Nationwide banking app - one of the easiest banking apps.

I'd such a bore. Mine would be Whatsapp and Wordament and Myfitnesspal.

Whatsapp for sending pictures, which I do pretty much every day. Wordament I discovered when I trialled the Lumia and is a very addictive Boggle game and MFP for tracking my calories.

So that covers social, mind and body grin
