Not far wrong @Bambino and it was quite possibly the very first AI in both films and TV that captured the imagination of the public. To be honest I absolutely hated the Westworld film and gave it a wide berth on the many TV repeats after seeing it at the cinema.

@AnonymousI also love Humans. I watched the first series and series 2 is a good follow up. However I don't think there are as many twists and turns in Humans. The plot seems far less complicated than Westworld.

AI out of control....the general theme of all these series and films where something goes wrong.

With Humans it's more about the 'synths' being developed for a specific role in society (servile ).....and then some develop emotions.....thats when the real humans realise they may have 'created a monster'
(Not realising that one scientist actually designed a programme which could turn some into 'conscious' synths) It makes sense when you watch it...

Just a general overview would be great, like what is the point of westworld, why does everyone kill each other all the time and who is human vs who is a robot - no need for any spoilers at all
Your post made me want to add this series to my to-watch-later list! Thanks! I am currently watching Star Trek the Next Generation though so have to get that out of the way first...
