Evening all,
Just jumping on to let you know this coming Sunday i'll be making the journey from Manchester to Wembley to attend the FA cup semi final between Nottingham Forest and Manchester City.
As i'm getting the coach down it's likely i won't be back home in bed until after midnight, fingers crossed the match doesn't go to pens as i'll be home even later and tip toeing round the house not to wake anyone 😋
Due to this i'm on leave this coming Monday 28 April, however i'll be back on Tuesday 29 April.
My score prediction is Nottingham Forest 1 Manchester City 2 🤞
I might even pop back in on Sunday and drop a picture of my view of the pitch 😁
Are you going @ColinO2?
Have a great weekend all 👍

Well done Arsenal Women. Got to say they have a great team inc Beth Mead, Alessia Russo.
As for Arsenal men`s team, doubt they`ll be as successful... but you probably expected me to say that seeing Liverpool have won the League when most of the BBC pundits thought Arsenal would do it 😉

I think most people assumed there would be more instability with the new manager @Mi-Amigo , as well as some carry over in terms of injury from the previous year - neither of which came to pass.
Salah has been outstanding this year, and is well deserving of the Golden Boot and Player of the Year (Ballon D'or too perhaps?).
Arsenal decided that they would try tying one hand behind their back by not signing the players they really needed and rely on others with a checkered injury history, which has meant in the league we are where we are.
I can't say I'm not laughing at the red side of Manchester, or "that lot" down the road though...

That's surprising @gmarkj ; presumably the ticket prices are more reasonable than for men's football ?
They are indeed @Oxonian - I paid £120 for the HAP+ tickets for me and my daughter, which gives us entry to the (at the time) 8 planned games at the Emirates.
If you brought the same tickets in the early bird phase it would have been £194 (including booking fees), and on general sale it would have been £218 - so a pretty big saving.
I double checked the attendances - this year so far the average attendance for the Emirates games is 32.8k and for the league games overall is just over 27k. The overall number would be the 15th best average in the Premier League. There is one more home league game left against Manchester Utd.
Last year the Emirates games average was 50k (there were 3 sellouts), and the overall average was just under 30k - which would be the 13th in the Premier League.
