Evening all,
Just jumping on to let you know this coming Sunday i'll be making the journey from Manchester to Wembley to attend the FA cup semi final between Nottingham Forest and Manchester City.
As i'm getting the coach down it's likely i won't be back home in bed until after midnight, fingers crossed the match doesn't go to pens as i'll be home even later and tip toeing round the house not to wake anyone 😋
Due to this i'm on leave this coming Monday 28 April, however i'll be back on Tuesday 29 April.
My score prediction is Nottingham Forest 1 Manchester City 2 🤞
I might even pop back in on Sunday and drop a picture of my view of the pitch 😁
Are you going @ColinO2?
Have a great weekend all 👍

Liverpool Anfield - Spurs
Don't often bother with football but getting tea this afternoon heard excitement on radio world service playing in the background. Liverpool having a brilliant time scoring goal after goal! Voices raised, singing, shouting then wishing I could see it, although commentators were fantastic maybe even better! The excitement very catching.
Well done Liverpool made teatime different!

Crystal Palace - Man City Final, sorry but will be supporting Palace and think they could beat Man City.. sorry Dave...

Well my team is Coventry and we've had a long chequered history. Best manager of all time was Jimmy Hill, so that will tell you when we last had a team to be proud of. 😂
I suppose our biggest claim to fame was winning the FA Cup in 1987 3-2 v Spurs.
A very memorable match. John Sillett was the manager at that time
We certainly were the underdogs going into that match as Spurs had won the FA cup twice before.

I don`t think Nottingham Forest are the underdogs; and think Forest could win 2 - 1.
But despite all the hype over the FA Cup, there is an even bigger match after that....
Liverpool v Spurs at Anfield and when Liverpool win, they will become Premier League Champions - equallying the record 20 league wins.
Actually the REALLY big game started at 5pm yesterday.
Arsenal Women were 2-1 down to Lyon, who were looking to be in the 4th final in a row and who had been in 11 semi finals without losing.
Remarkably AWFC managed to win 4-1 setting up an interesting final against Barcelona (who had just beating Chelsea 8-2 on aggregate).

The question now is can the Arsenal men's team replicate this?

Sometimes @Oxonian
They will have played 9 out of 11 home league games at the main stadium this year, plus the champions league 1/4 and semi final home legs.
The domestic cups tend to be played there, plus the CL group games as the attendance is lower (mid week generally).
Leicester was the lowest attendance at 5.5k, and Sp*rs the heights at 56k.
The average attendance would put them mid Premier league level....
