This week we are heading into unknown personally for me but this was suggested by a Moderator whose name will not be mentioned (it wasn't Leonard)
Before we delve into this amazingly unknown area for me I wanted to recap on last weeks book subjects which was Biographies/Auto Biographies and Memoirs.
Some great books suggested and I hope that somebody picks up at least one of the suggestions.
So the list is:
Dear Fatty - Dawn French
Slash - Slash
The Dirt - Motley Crue
High Voltage -Kat Von D
Stephen Hawkings ( not sure which one as there are a few.)
Gypsy Boy -Mikey Walsh
Mr Nice - Howard Marks
The Damage Down - Warren Fellows
Booky Wook - Russell Brand
Look Who it is! My Story - Alan Carr
Hunting With Barracuda's - Chris Snyder
On the Run - Greg and Gina Hill
Lucky Man - Michael J Fox
On the Cobbles - Jimmy Stockin
The Guvnor - Lenny Mclean
Marilyn's letters- Marilyn Monroe
Lions Tale - Chris Jericho
Tattoo Chronicles - Kat Von D
What you see is what you get - Alan Sugar
Between The Lines - Victoria Pendleton ( Wouldn't that have been a great book name for the rolling stones)
All Those Moments - Rutger Hauer
Why we Suck - Dennis Leary
I know that I have literally hundreds more I could add to this personally so I think we will have another go at this one in the future but here is the link if anybody wants to add to it.

Mostly "Golden Age" sci-fi - especially Asimov (one of my heroes) - but I also love Edgar Rice Burroughs (late 19th century) and E E (Doc) Smith - (1920's).
My all-time fave though is "Dune" - somewhere between sci-fi and fantasy (which I normally dislike) but incredibly well written and totally convincing. After that, there's a short stort called "Manifest Destiny" that is darned near perfect - moralistic story that stays just the right side of becoming patronising - well worth a go. Also, I'd recommend that everyone reads the original "Starship Troopers" - the fil was good but the book is much better - black comedy as much as sci-fi.

I see this is ticking along, sorry I am not able to contribute much as not my thing really.
Other than The hobbit when I was about 10 I am struggling to think of a book that I have read that falls into this topic.
