I am a avid reader and though it might be nice to see what everybody's favourite books are. I have decided to try and break it down into categories so people can use it as a reference if they so chose.
So once a week I will add a new catergory for us to add too.
Week One is Biographies, what have you read or are wanting to read?

Alan Sugar's - What You See Is What You Get, I found it a very good read, it give's you a real insight in to how he first started out & how he worked his way to the top through hard work & determination.
Victoria Pendleton's - Between the Line's, A brilliant read, her journey from cycling as a child up to winning Olympic gold including the family issues & several professional obstacles that have attempted to stop her along the way.
I was lucky enough to meet Victoria & she autographed the book

no, not his rock band,
ive watched wrestling since i was 2. ( twenty years) and actually, before you judge, hes had a hard career, hard personal life, many losses, and is actually a decent human being, regularly gives to charity, donates his time, stepped down many times to give the younger ones a start...
he only started wrestling to provide financial security for his sick mother, and that i admire!

Rutger Hauer - All those moments
He's THE dutch actor. It tell's how he's grown up after WW II in Amsterdam, went to sea, took actors lessons, became known with 'Floris'. Had the leadrole in 'Ladyhawke', then the role in 'Blade Runner' (the title comes from the lines "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain"). His social engagements.
(My favorite actor)
(Dr Denis Leary) - Why We Suck
Denis Leary is the son of Irish immigrants and born in the US. He tells how he was raised by his parents and how that influenced/s him. So he got a different view on the USA and it's people and analyses the fails of his landmens.

Great thread, guys! Famke Janssen is probably my favorite Dutch actor. Don't think she has a biography yet, though
